The Beata fiesta in Santa Margalida is considered to feature some of the most traditional aspects of Mallorcan fiestas, most obviously the actual celebration of the Beata Santa Catalina Thomas.

Saturday, 29 August19:30: Mass. Santa Margalida choir. Place: parish church.
22:30: Dance. Performances by Aires Vileras and Música Nostra. Place: Plaça de la Vila.
Sunday, 30 August19:30: Mass and prayer for the fiestas. Followed by jazz concert with group Jazztabé (sax, keyboards, bass and drums). Place: parish church.
Tuesday, 1 September20:30: Master classes of pilates, aerobics and spinning and also rhythmic gymnastics. Place: Plaça de la Vila.
Wednesday, 2 September18:00: "Water park". Place: Plaça de la Vila.
22:00: Glosada. This is a form of unaccompanied folk singing. Place: Plaça de la Vila.
Thursday, 3 September21:30: Playback and presentation of youth singing. Place: Plaça de la Vila.
Friday, 4 September23:00: Fire run with demons. Place: Plaça de la Vila.
24:00: Rock, pop and electronic music night. Groups - Mar de Dudas and Pirates Pirats and DJs Butxe and Vives. Place: Plaça de la Vila.
00:30: House project and rock underground. Place: Pub Es Colomer.
Saturday, 5 September17:00: Traditional races with accompaniment by pipers and whistlers.
19:30: Performance by the pipers and whistlers and Santa Margalida music band. Place: Plaça de la Vila.
22:30: Saturday party. Groups Tres Kaires, Oasis, Ballàfasuà, Horris Kamoi. Place: Plaça de la Vila.
00:30: DJs. Place: Pub Es Colomer.
Sunday, 6 September (day of La Beata)10:00: Exit of the demons.
11:00: Solemn mass. Also with choir, Santa Margalida music band, pipers and whistlers. Place: parish church.
17:30: Floats through streets in the centre of the town.
21:00: The Beata procession.
24:00: Grand party. Performance by Julio Simfonic, Romàntics and Fenomenas Band. Place: Plaça de la Vila.
Monday, 7 September22:00: Theatre night (Catalan). Place: Plaça de la Vila and then the Grand Fireworks Display.
