Wednesday, 15 July:
21:00: Welcome to the fiestas.

20:30: Exhibition of embroidery, handicraft. Place: Saló Parroquial.

Friday, 17 July:
16:00: Children's activities. Place: Public swimming pool.

18:30: Bouncy castle and ice-creams for kids. Place: The square (Plaça Miquel Capllonch).

(Note: this is not the international group Il Divo, but presumably the Il Divo Simfònic.)


Saturday, 18 July:
20:00: Concert with four music bands - from Sa Pobla, Santa Margalida, Binissalem and Pollensa. Place: The square (Plaça Miquel Capllonch).

22:00: Concert with Orquestra Mediterrani. Place: Place: The square (Plaça Miquel Capllonch).

22:00: Beach party. Various DJs. Place: La Gola beach.


Sunday, 19 July:
18:30: Solemn Mass. Place: The church in Puerto Pollensa's square, followed by sea procession with the images of Saint Peter and the Virgen del Carmen, accompanied by the Pollensa Music Band.

22:30: Batucada (drum samba). Fire run with demons.

24:00: Grand firework display. Place: La Gola beach.

SONS DE NIT - POLLENSA

This is a further series of live music events occurring in the old town of Pollensa, specifically at the San Domingo cloister.

Trobada de Músics per la Llengua - Pollensa
Saturday, 27 June: From 17:00, Pollensa will be staging, at five different venues, the tenth "meeting of musicians for the language", a one-day music festival devoted to bands and DJs operating in the Catalan language. The event comes under the auspices of the organisation "Músics per la Llengua" which was formed in 2000 with the idea of developing the recognition of music in Catalan in the Balearics and to the promotion of acts that perform in Catalan.

Among the different acts participating are:

Antònia punk, Arpellots Havaneres Band, Barrumbada, Culibrou, DJ Kat, Doradella, Es Reboster, Germans Martorell, Glosamusikada, Gonelles morts, Guillem Sansó, Herbes Dolces, Inventari, Katau, L’Atelier, L’équilibriste, Lluci Villalonga R’n'r band, Nicolau, Nua, Oliva Trencada, Quart creixent, Si tot va bé, Skagerrak, Suasi, Tiu y Torrat i bullit.
All concerts are free.

Pet Food Appeal – 250 Cans
As animal feed is one of the largest running costs for Victoria's Animal Refuge we are running an appeal to collect as much pet food as possible during the month of June. We are asking people to put a few cans of dog or cat food in their shopping basket when they are out doing their weekly shopping. Just drop off the cans at Little Britain Supermarket before the end of June. Our target is 250 cans.

ESOS KUERNOS ROCK - POLLENSA

Saturday, 4 July. The fifth alternative music festival to be held in Pollensa. Features Mallorcan groups - Dinamo, Los Primos, Black Voltors, Bleed de Man, Prosthetics, Diabólicos, Breathless, Main Line 10, One Foot. After the concerts there will be an "electronic tent" with drum and bass and trance with the DJs Loop Stepwalker, Dark Basser, Mixim, Vigueret and Pascual.

Everything starts at 17:00 and goes on till approximately 03:00. Place: the old football arena (Can Escarrintxo). Entry fee: 6 euros.
