SA POBLA JAZZ FESTIVAL 2009

This annual series of concerts starts at the end of July and goes through August with one concert per week. All concerts take place in the Plaça Major, Sa Pobla; times 22:00-22:30.

Monday, 27 July:
Joe Lovano Quartet. Joe Lovano (sax), George Mraz (bass), James Weidman (piano), Jordi Rossy (drums) with special guest Judi Silvano (vocals).

Tuesday, 4 August:
Baldo Martínez Grand Ensemble "Projecto Miño". Baldo Martínez (double-bass), Maite Dono (vocals), Chiaki Mawatari (tuba and serpent), Antonio Bravo (electric guitar), David Herrington (trumpet and bugle), Alejandro Pérez (tenor and soprano sax, clarinet), Pedro López (drums and percussion), Marc Egea (zanfona), Lucía Martínez (percussion and vibes).

Wednesday, 12 August:
Dee Dee Bridgewater (vocals), Edsel Gómez (piano), Pernell Saturnino (percussion), Thomas Bramiere (bass), Gabriel Garay (drums).
