ALCUDIA OPEN-AIR CONCERTS/EVENTS - AUGUST 2007 (FIRST HALF)

Throughout the rest of August there are a number of events “a la fresca” occurring in the old town of Alcúdia. Here are those up to the middle of the month. A further listing will be published at a later date.

7 August:
22:00 - Concert with the singer Maya. Place: Terrace of Biblioteca Can Torró, Calle Serra.

9 August:
21:00 - Via Fora. The Via Fora is a dramatised production something like a son et lumiére. Place: Porta de Sant Sebastià (the Saint Sebastian gate).

10 August:
19:00 - Street theatre with the Companyia Vatua. Music from Africa, India, America and the Orient, combined with stories and humour reflecting different cultures. Place: Plaça de Carles V.

22:00 - The theatre company Ses Judites present “Projecte Riera”. Love, sexuality, motherhood ... Place: Pollentia Roman Theatre.

15 August:
22:00 - Traditional concert for Mare de Déu d’Agost. The Alcúdia Municipal Band. Place: Plaça de les Verdures (behind the town hall).
