PUERTO ALCUDIA SEPIA FAIR AND BOAT SHOW 2012

Saturday, 21 April:
10:00: Opening of the boat show. On the Paseo Marítimo. And opening of the craft market along the C/. Gabriel Roca.

11:00: Opening of food market on the Old Pier and of the marquee of restaurants participating in the sepia gastronomy fair on the C/. Gabriel Roca.

11:00: Gathering and flotilla of traditional "vela llatina" boats and opening of exhibition of fishing craft at the fishermen's building on the old pier.

12:00: Street procession by the brass band Els Valencians.

16:30: Departure from the port's church of L'Estol del Rei en Jaume I and the giants of Alcúdia, accompanied by pipers.

22:30: Music at the restaurants' marquee with he groups Torro Fort and Ultimo Café.


Sunday, 22 April:
10:00: Opening of the boat show, craft market and food market.

11:00: Opening of the restaurants' marquee.

12:00: "Havaneres" songs by the Grup Sotavent.

17:30: Ball de Bot with the group Sarau Alcudienc. Paseo Marítimo.

(There will be various exhibitions and demonstrations, including kayaking between 10:00 and 13:00 both days and fishermen's craft. For children, there will be bouncies and various workshops.)

Other restaurants, not in the marquee, will also be offering sepia specialities over the weekend.
