Sant Bartomeu

Today, 24 August, is the fiesta of Sant Bartomeu, an offering of thanks to this saint for the season’s fruits such as melons which are scooped out and turned into lanterns. Children of the town walk through the streets with the lanterns and sing traditional songs, the event ending at the town hall (evening) where balloons are released and sweets given away.

Fira d’Alcúdia

The Alcúdia Fair, normally the first weekend of October, starts this year on the 29th of September, lasting till the 1st of October. More information when available.
